Larson-Juhl Metro Grid

Greg Perkins ordered the abstracted 10"x10" Chinese characters requesting they be written running off the corners. He then designed this grid using them in a patchwork manner. Originals that match these charachters are avaialble in Gallery/Asian, and as open edition reproductions, see Prints.

Larson-Juhl Dreams

Larson-Juhl requested a very specific small 5"x5" deckle edged Asian piece for their framed sampler available to custom framers. The original was fabulously produced as a limited edtion of 1000 by Grand Image.

Friendship

Like the resist series below, this piece was a special commission to be gifted to a new affiliate in China. The special dedication is written in small brown italic lettering, running vertically.

Larson-Juhl

These 14"x18" pieces were commissioned by Larson-Juhl as originals to showcase the release of their new mouldings.
Each piece incorporates the name of the moulding and one or two words describing the profile. Textural gesso freely replicates the sculpture or carving of the wood.
All of these pieces were mixed media of Swiss walnut ink, resist, gesso and graphite, on Arches 260# HP white watercolor paper.
