Bamboo of all kinds abound here. They have been painted on rag paper and mulberry rice papers using black and gray sumi inks, rich brown walnut inks and Chinese colors. The original leaf art in this gallery are an eclectic collection of everything from minimalist traditional sumi-e painting to contemporary abstract. The abstractions are often mixed media collaged with an assortment of imagery and often in set or series.
