Welcome to the Horse Gallery.
This gallery of original horse art has been painted on an assortment of handmade Asian rice papers, handmade 140# textural watercolor paper, and smooth 90# hot pressed papers. Sumi inks and watercolors from China and Japan, walnut ink granules from Switzerland, European watercolors and opaque gouache are my mediums of choice. Most of the Asian influenced originals use my Chinese signature Mei Giu Pin and/or my personalized carved chop and vermillion ink. Since I favor smaller formats I often create sets or groupings that may easily be arranged horizontally or vertically to accommodate any design space, but a few of my horses are larger as indicated.
These original paintings are available framed or unframed, as limited editions and as greeting cards. Any image marked as SOLD indicates that original has been purchased but the image will still be available as a print. Contact me for additional information. They are also available for licensing.
