Chris Paschke, artist and calligraphic designer, holds a degree in Creative Arts and Design, whose art regularly appears in juried shows and publications, fine art books, and exhibitions throughout the world. Having signed with Wild Apple Graphics, Woodstock, VT in the 1990s as an open edition artist, her reproductions are sold in retail stores and on the internet. She has illustrated numerous books with her simple Asian images including Feng Shui and the Feng Shui Journal for Peter Pauper Press.
Her originals offer an assortment of encaustic, mixed media, collage, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, and ink on neutral pH papers. Subject matter ranges from Eastern to Western interpretive concepts and feature abstract expressionism, minimalism and texture in her unique interpretive style in a wide variety of topics.
The gallery has been divided into theme groups. As you venture into the themed gallery of your choosing there will again be thumbnail images featuring a small section of the whole original image. Since all originals are unique, the framing is designed to enhance and protect that art. Framing uses only preservation museum rag mats, starch hinges or edge strips, UV glass or museum glass, backing and hardware. Prints are open edition reproductions of originals from Wild Apple Graphics. Framed Prints are small 6" x 6" digital prints that are professionally matted with a 1" border and a small decorative frame by Designs Ink for $30.00 each. Commissioned art is all one of a kind and designed specifically for each client's needs. All pieces are unique.
