The original art in this gallery include bird themes painted in numerous mediums from traditional Asian sumi-e painting on plain handmade mulberry paper to mixed media using gesso, sumi ink washes, watercolor and gouache. Most of the originals are produced as a grouping and many are available as originals--framed or unframed--limited edition giclees on fine art paper or as greeting cards. Current additions include feathers to meet design trends and demands. There are gold leaf outlines with black ink accented feathers and watercolor washed feathers with black ink and gold leaf accents as 10"x15" on smooth white paper.
The contemporary birds lower on the page were created for licensing opportunities and have accompanying patterns. Email for additional information. Painting my originals in these smaller formats allows for them to be purchased as pairs, sets of three, four, six or nine easily allowing for them to be arranged horizontally or vertically and to accommodate any display space.
